Present Perfect Tense: used to indicate an action that has completed by a given time or to connect a completed action with the present. It always tells us something about now.

Formula:

Subject + has/have+ past participle (3rd form of the verb) + complement

 

Examples:

  1. We have lived here for a long time.
  2. I have read  two books about this topic.
  3. She has not answered the email.

Cues: already, yet, never, ever, just, recently
